  meetings & results

Gdansk Business Women's Association (GBWA) / BPW Bremen

During the mutual talks which had been held in a very pleasant atmosphere the aims and directions of our both Organizations have been presented and introduced to each other.

When doing that I had to experience that the members' clientele of the Gdansk Club (GBWA) is not fully identical with ours.

The GBWA is exclusively interested in contacts with business women (entrepreneurs) and in such projects, which are particularly suited to support those women to get a job again.

We as BPW Bremen will/shall act as a certain "multiplier" and will contact and approach further Women Organizations at Bremen which aims and targets are even more closer and still more corresponding to those of the GBWA with the full intention to present first results on the next meeting to be held at Gdansk.

Nevertheless it has been commonly agreed that both Clubs will permanently continue their meantime started exchange of experiences.

  results & outlook

Meeting in Gdansk 30 June – 2 July 2006

Tandem BPW Club Bremen e.V. and PSKB

The BPW-Germany Club Bremen e.V., represented by it’s President,
Sonja Beuch, have met the Business Women Association Poland (PSKB), represented by it’s Chairwoman, Mrs. Elzbietea Tomacek and Mrs. Jolanta Lis.

The Polish women explained in detail their contact wishes. Basically they are especially interested in business contacts at Germany with respective partner enterprises, because these Polish Women are offering with their companies different kinds of Assembly Sections and Supplies of Services, from which they strongly believe they can offer those activities and services also to German customers.

During the working chat it had been underlined that BPW Germany is in general prepared to arrange those contacts requested, however it is necessary to know all those specific requirements of the Polish Entrepreneurs with regard to the intended business they are running or the intended contacts they are interested in.

The Women Network, represented by BPW , has been explained and illustrated in detail, however a clear advice had been given that BPW is an Association of Business Women whose contacts amongst each other may lead to business relations however same are not seen as first majority!

It had been mutually agreed that specific requirements, received later from the Polish Business Women, will be forwarded to the German Association (BPW Germany e.V.) for further consideration and handling as well.

The Polish Ladies have been invited to attend the Annual Conference of BPW-Germany e.V. 2006 which will be held from March 16, 2006 until
March 18, 2006 at Bremen.
