I. Skill-sharing
1. PKM's sailors want to practically train in range of sailing
skills on tides water of the North Sea. In order to do it they
expect WVH to enable the Polish yacht to take a stopping place
free of charge in yacht's port in Brema and to make use of media
(water, electricity, etc)
2. PKM is offering WVH's sailors:
a. the same possibility of the use of their marina in Gdansk
b. the use of their yacht in Brema for training targets between
voyages
3. WVH's yachtsmen want to arrive at Gdansk with their (sailing
boat) centerboard to sail on the Bay of Gdansk and internal
water. The want to have possibility of safe location for their
tents and access to the media.
Both sides agreed on that their expectations are possible to
realize in the nearest navigation season.
II. Innovation path
1. PKM and WVH accept that it is crucial to win Union funds
for:
a. sailing training teenagers (theoretical courses and sea
training: Bremen's on the Baltic and Gdansk's on the North
Sea)
b. to finance costs of rides and stays of teenagers from poor
families
c. to organize together sailing voyages with mixed crews on
the Baltic and the North Sea to be held as part of the exchange
of young people from "sister cities" Gdansk and
Brema.
2. WVH declares to pilot training programmes the realization
of procedure of to win [sb] over unions funds for projects
mentioned above.
III. New synergies- new topics for further cooperation
PKM has owned the wooden yacht from 1932 - a gaff cutter s/y
"Pirat"-built in Hamburg in 1908 according to construction
of well-known designer Öertz. It is valuable monument
of a boatbuilding art.
New joint project can include:
1. carrying out an historical research in case of fully cognition
and presenting documents testifying the object's history.
2. the yacht's renovation - the object is a certificate of
cultural, European legacy 3. to win union resources to realize
the project
